Made in China, the Shuguang KT88 is the standard tube for the highly acclaimed Music Reference RM-200. They have excellent build quality and are a great tube at a great price. Their bad reputation is due to the quota system the company used which caused them to ship any tube which looked like a tube regardless of its ability to perform. We have weeded out the 'bad apples' by testing them to the same specs as our other tubes (520 volts on the plate!)
